Ira Carty is an author, educator, pastor, counsellor, and certified ADHD and relationship coach with more than fifteen years of experience supporting individuals, families, students, and communities.

His writing reflects a deep commitment to faith, personal growth, inclusion, and the belief that every person deserves to be seen, understood, and empowered to thrive. Drawing from his experiences as an educator, parent, pastoral leader, and neurodiversity advocate, Ira writes books that encourage readers to embrace their identity, overcome barriers, and discover greater purpose.

He is the author of I Am Not Broken—I Am Different: A Neurodiversity Story for Brave Kids, a compassionate children’s book that celebrates neurodiversity and helps young readers recognize that being different does not mean being less. Additionally, he has written the I Am Not Broken Parent Manual: Real-Life Strategies for Raising Neurodivergent Children with Compassion, Structure, and Hope.

His book The Searching God: From Genesis to Revelation—God’s Pursuit of Lost Humanity explores the biblical story of a God who relentlessly seeks, restores, and welcomes people into relationship with Him.

Ira is also the author of An Introduction to English: I Will Follow You, a practical resource created to support English-language learners.
